Advanced English for Human Resources™ (aEHR™) developed by ESI School of Business which is based on authentic Oxford and Cambridge English programs for Human Resources. Each unit contains a Unit Lesson, which discusses unit materials for listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Audio scripts for the listening material and a complete answer key, including suggested answers for the discussion activities. You will also find a full glossary containing explanations of the strategic and technical human resources vocabulary, and you can find extra activities online at

Course Learning Outcomes

The goal of Advanced English for Human Resources™ (aEHR™) is to provide teaching the specialist vocabulary and theory of HR, the course also develops job-specific skills such as coaching, designing and implementing appraisal systems, managing conflict and others. This course is designed for both self-study, blended learning, and classroom teaching to help HR professional or a student of human resources management improve professional communication skills in real-world of human resources management:

  • What advanced English communication skills should have in various professional HRM contexts.
  • How the English language is used in professional HRM contexts.
  • What the authentic types of text that HR professionals read and write.
  • How and what the vocabulary, phrases and grammatical structures of the English language that an HR professional should have.

If you wish to obtain a Verified Course Certificate, you must complete at least 80% and pass all the course assignments and final exam.

Each pEHR™ Course has its own requirements. To successfully learn and take this aEHR™ course, the participant should have at least two to four years of work experience in human resources management. This course is also recommended for a senior student who has been learning human resources management as a mainstream subject in their university.

Upon notification of acceptance into a program, you’ll receive an electronic invoice that is payable within 30 days of receipt. Please review our school Payment Policies and the steps for cancelling or deferring participation.

English Proficiency

Because pEHR™ Courses are designed to encourage individual growth globally and foster productive interaction among participants, groups and within your organisation, English proficiency in written and spoken English is essential. However, please note that the participants who have challenges in English skills will be offered relevant language assistances from ESI School of Business (Our Admissions Committee may also request an interview).

Letter of Reference

The pEHR™ also requires a letter of reference from a lecturer or a senior executive within the applicant’s organization, a board member of the applicant’s company, or an ESI School of Business graduate who is familiar with the applicant’s role and responsibilities and can provide a detailed firsthand account.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Participant Stories” style=”arrow”]Who Holds an aEHR™ Certification?
